Happy Birthday Kira!!

Well my little girl turned 4 yrs old last Monday. Although it seems like she was already four, it's still crazy that she actually is 4 now! She has been saying Happy Birthday every night for months now (she is a VERY silly little girl) and still is.

Reggie was working in the area and swung in to take Kira out for lunch. It was really sweet to see Kira's Daddy want to do something special with her. They have a very cute relationship.
I guess this is Kira's first real date :)
This is a cute picture of Kyler chowing on some birthday cake.
We had Kira's party at the park, but Reggie got home so late that it was almost dark ( oh the poor girl was so anxious to get to the park-it was a very interesting evening to say the least-just trying to get there). But once we got there Kira had a blast with her presents and wondering around the playground in the dark.
She got a bike which she was thrilled about(and Cooper even more so). Thus far Cooper has ridden it more than Kira.
Isn't she such a cutie!
So we got a free cake from Bashas for her birthday but Kira wanted cupcakes. I tried(and half failed) making cupcakes in a cone. Should have been super cute but ended up being super cute melted ice cream cake cones. Well anyway her Bashas cake which I still got for her, fell on the park bench (you know how toast always falls to the ground butter side down-well cakes fall frosting side down ;) Okay, I have to say that it was just another thing to top it all off, but none the less, I thought it was hilarious.
She loved helping me make her cupcakes and she wanted pink yellow and blue frosting, so that is just what we did!
Well Kira, I hope you know how special you are because you really are! You really are easy to please and you love to be silly and make everyone happy! You show your affection very often by hitting people-especially Daddy. You have to be looked at when talking or you think you aren't being listened to (sorry you get that from your Mommy) You are very care free and wild at the same time. You are a great big sister and a fun little sister. We are very lucky to have you in our family.
Love Mommy
p.s. I'm glad you finally came to terms with being 4. I know how bad you want to be 5. Next year you will be, but for now-don't grow up too fast.

A trip to the valley!

Last month(Feb.) we made a trip to the valley so Reggie could get his plumbing license (long story). Well we stayed with my brother and sis-in-law and had a blast. While Reggie was doing the whole study and test taking thing, me and the kids hung out at the house or went into town for some city life.
NIGHT 1:One of the nights I was there I got to catch a glimpse of their Bunco night and I actually WON-yeah, so what if it was winning the losing spot right?! :) I ended up with the least amount of points but it was lot's of fun. Reggie had to take the kids out for dinner and come back at bedtime and it was very sweet of him to not only leave the premises but to also not complain at all.
NIGHT 3: The next night we had dinner with some friends, Jake and Kristen. Then we had to race off so me, Katie and Marie(my sis-in-laws) could go to the movies which was so fun to just hang out, we ended up just chillin after the movie for a while. I love just hangin out with the girls.

DAY 1:The days were pretty busy, the first day was hangin out at Katie's and helping her prep for Bunco night since it was her turn to host. DAY 2:The second day was a shopping day, so I went into town and met Marie at Savers (one of my favorite places-now the secret is out and you all know I buy second hand clothes :) When we left the store Marie hung out to make sure this weird guy talking to me and standing a little too close to my car didn't do anything crazy and then we were off. I went to pick up Reggie for a lunch break and Marie and Ayden went to pick up Brian(my brother) and we all met up at the mall for some lunch before Brian and Marie had to race off to take Brian to school. I then took Reggie back to his class and went off the Hobby Lobby(yet another one of my FAVORITE places). Reggie calls it Happy Hobby(I think he has to rename absolutely everything in my world, just to drive me crazy-he is such a TEASE!) -What a goof, but I Love him!
DAY 3: Well on Thursday I took my kids to the dinosaur museum which was so much fun! The official name is the Arizona Museum of Natural History. I was so excited to take my kids out and do something for them. When they are older maybe we will learn a little more than the numbers on the elevator :). Friday we packed up and took Reggie to take his test(which he did GREAT on) and while he was test taking me and the kids were going to take a quick jont(so I thought) to return something to Hobby Lobby. Well I thought the Hobby Lobby was only like 10-15 min away but it ended being 30 min. So by the time me and the 3 little ones get there and then get out and return my item then make it to the restroom(oh my gosh I was so done with bathroom trips and kids in the valley-EXHAUSTING) I had almost no time to browse-although it was just enough to buy a few more little things:) NIGHT 4:Then back to get Reggie, then another store for me and one for him and we were off to eat dinner at some friends house. Justin and Ginger took good care of us and I was glad to see their new house-which is adorable. They even donated some p.j.'s to us since everything was dirty and we didn't know where in the car it was. Let me just say that Cooper is in love with his new spider-man p.j.'s and Kira now loves Hannah Montana only because that is who is on her shirt! We headed out pretty late and I of course fell asleep on the way home (which is always better when Reggie is driving and it's late-because he is NO slow driver at those times).

This is a picture of Reggie taking Kira for a ride on Brendan and Katie's goofy little go-cart thing.
And a picture with Cooper. Kyler got a ride too but I didn't get a snapshot. I also went on the very bumpy but really fun little go-cart, but I wasn't brave enough to take the kids with me.
Brendan and Katie moved not too long ago, but their place sure seems to have gotten it together really fast on the inside and outside. Although if we are comparing - our place after almost 6 years still has no fence or grass :( - But that will soon change :)
The rest of these pictures are from our dinosaur museum trip.

In this pic they are sitting in front of a real fossil(I tried to teach them the meaning of a fossil but there is just too much to see to be able to hear(at least hear Mommy anyway).

This turtle was out in the open so I am assuming it was ok for her to sit on :)
Our huge dinosaur puzzle that took Mommy quite some time to figure out how to put back together (much easier once I realized it was double sided and some of the pieces were upside down)-I know, I'm such a blonde sometimes. This is also when I let the tiger off his leash(I let Kyler run around for a bit) and he was too busy so I had to introduce some tootsie rolls to him when I forced him back to the stroller.
Nothin' like a little candy bribe.
The dark glow in the dark room where you can draw on the walls.
My kids got to star in an old Western!
Okay, so I tried getting a picture of Kira in one of these old prison cells and just as I was getting the door closed on her, Cooper went into the next cell over and started closing his door. The door made a VERY LOUD sound that startled Kira so bad she was instant tears and screams. She ran out in a panic and just wanted to hug me forever. It was really sad. Pretty much heart breaking since Kira is my little tough girl.

They are suppose to be panning for gold but instead we just played in the water for a little break outside.
Yeah! Kyler finally got in on the action-we was so happy to be free!

This here is Manny's uncle!
Please tell me you know who Manny is.
Well that's it for our trip to the museum. The kids had a blast, I have to thank Katie for letting me borrow her sit and stand stroller. The kids were really good-the museum wasn't busy at all. We just wandered around making it to the elevator like 8 times. I'm really glad I got to go share some time with the kids!
Long post...I know.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy Birthday to my Sweet and Wonderful Mother!!

This picture was from my High School days. My Mom and I took some last minute shots at the mall.

Hey Mom-this is our newcomer. These are some adorable pictures from our ultra sound 2 days ago. This little baby already looks like a little Reed baby :) I can't believe how well you can see the baby with a 3-D ultra sound. We ended up having the ultra sound but still didn't find out the gender of the baby. So it will be a Delivery room SURPRISE!!

For my Moms birthday she asked all of her children to do something special as a family or something a little different that we would normally do. So we decided to visit my Grandpa, Paul Lincoln Goodman at the Taylor cemetary.

We then went to the Snowflake Cemetary and paid a visit to Reggie's Grandpartents, Don and Thelma Brinkerhoff.

I am really glad we finally were able to go and say hello to my Grandpa. He died before I was born but I know he was a great man.

Well Happy Birthday Mom, we Love You!!

A Merry little December!

This picture actually belongs at the bottom of this post but when I was typing I realized it was gone-and it just HAS to be on here.
This is a picture of Cooper and his cousin Gaige. They had a blast being pulled by the quad.
These two youngsters are gonna be some trouble makers when they are older. Hopefully sweet ones though. :)

My kids were so excited to sit on Santa's lap. Cooper was especially excited about Santa.
Kira wondered around and would NOT wait in line. She is just so busy that after about 30seconds of waiting in line she just can't do it any longer. I think I got her to stand in line about 10 different times (not joking) before I finally gave up and decided we would pretty much be the last ones to leave the building. So she was one of the last ones to sit on Santa's lap, but she loved every bit of it.

Kyler also wanted nothing to do with sitting still and didn't have ANY desire to sit with Santa.
This is our attempt to a family picture. The first set was all very blurry and out of the second set Cooper was sticking his tongue up in the air on every single picture except this one.
This was a practice shot by Reggie while I was still getting ready since it was right before church. I love it-very funny!
This is our Christmas Eve party at Reggie's parents house. We always do a white elephant gift exchange with the Reeds and Grandma gave the kids their gifts also. They were very excited.
Kyler is probably in love with his toy more than anybody else. I have never seen any of my children take to soft things as much as this little guy has taken to this froggy and another soft blanket we have. But this froggy has got to be his favorite thing that he takes to bed and wants it when he gets up, it's too cute!
It was love at first froggy!
Here is the start of our Christmas. This is definitely Kylers favorite toy. We couldn't even get him to hardly open anything else. We finally just took one of the toys and decided to wait until his birthday to bring it back out.
Kira loves to work with her hands and loves to be a little artist so this easel with dry erase and chalk board is perfect for her!
Cooper has been wanting a remote control truck for a very long time. He was very excited to see that Santa brought him one this Christmas.
The one awesome thing about Christmas with other siblings is that you get (in our case) 3 times the toys. They are having a blast playing with each others toys!
Kira in her new tent practicing brushing her teeth with her new Dora toothbrush.
Christmas so much fun this year and also very busy! Christmas morning after opening some presents and snacking on some yummy Christmas breads. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Reeds house for breakfast, if that is what you want to call it. We ate after 11am that morning. But it was delicious. After eating we raced home to pack and then drove to Pima to spend some Christmas time with my family. We had a really fun and exhausting weekend. I never went to sleep before 1am or later. Christmas night we opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa Cluff for the kids and the grand kids. It was very exciting!

The next day the family was going up the West end of Mt. Graham for some fun in the snow. I wasn't going to go because I figured it would be too much work with the little ones, so I told my brother that I would go if Mom and Dad went. Well I knew my parents weren't going. Hahaha-They DID go. Yeah, I couldn't believe they talked my Dad into going. He probably went because if me and my kids stayed, he wouldn't have peace :) Sorry Dad. Well I was glad I went because we were all able to go(it's not very often that the boys invite the girls along to have some fun). Cooper is a little snow junkie and we bundled Kira up so she wouldn't have a reason to be grumpy.

That night we had yet another white elephant gift exchange that was fun and I was sad to see my sister leave because I hardly got to see her while we were there. But I loved the excitement of the weekend and now we're just back to our semi-busy/dull lives ;)

This is all Kyler wanted to do while playing in the snow, was ride the quad with Daddy.
Uncle Brendan took Kira down on the tube. What a nice uncle.
Grandpa was making sure everyone was comfortable. He is showing Cooper how to warm up his hands.
My niece, Eden took good care of Kira on the tube, while they were pulled behind the quad by Reggie. Kira would just close her eyes and lay there on Eden. So cute!
My MOTHER went down on the tube with Kira. Let me just say that I am very impressed. My Mom just wanted to be a kid again. You see the leaves they are coming up on in the picture. They actually hit it and crashed. Kind of funny since nobody got hurt:) Oh my sweet fun Mother. Kira loved it.
If Kyler wasn't crying to be on the quad then he was off walking in the snow. He was a pretty happy little sport while we were out in the snow.
I tell you what-this little boy is do dang adorable!
Ok-so one of the highlights of my weekend was that I got a new hair cute and some highlights! I was in dire need of a new do. It ended up SO cute. My SIL Marie is awesome. I won a free haircut by Marie when we were playing the white elephant game. I even stole it from my Mom(sorry Mom). Well anyway-I'm sorry I have no pics, I'll have to work on that one. Anywho-Thanks again Marie!
